Cardiac Anesthesiologist
Dr. Ashley O’Brien joined the New Brunswick Heart Centre as a staff anesthesiologist in 2010. He obtained his medical degree from Dalhousie Medical School in 2004. He completed his Anesthesiology training at Dalhousie as well. He was certified as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Anesthesiology in 2009. He completed a fellowship in cardiac anesthesia, cardiovascular critical care, and transesophageal echocardiography at the University of Toronto (St. Michael’s Hospital) in 2010.
