Cardiovascular Surgeon
Dr. Christopher White obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Winnipeg in 2005, and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Manitoba in 2009. He completed his residency training in cardiac surgery at the University of Alberta in 2018, during which time he also obtained a Ph.D. in Physiology and Pathophysiology at the University of Manitoba. He then embarked on a clinical fellowship in cardiothoracic transplantation and advanced mechanical circulatory support at Duke University, a world leader in the surgical treatment of advanced heart failure. Dr. White also has extensive research experience in the field of heart failure, has published numerous book chapters and manuscripts, and serves as a reviewer for multiple high impact journals.
